About Molecule of the Month

Micromolecules

Each month, Signature Immunologics features a small molecule from its compendium of micromolecules. Small molecules are the essential building blocks of all life processes. Cumulatively, they function as agents for muscle and organ tissue function and repair.  Individual chemicals serve as neurotransmitters in the brain, spinal cord, and sensory organs. Using Computational Molecular Phenotyping (CMP), the proportion of various small molecules in each cell type can be quantified and used as a benchmark for cell health or conversely, disease state and disease progression.

Signature Immunologics has developed immunologic probes to some of the molecules in the compendium; all are of interest to the life scientist. If you would like to contribute an entry to the compendium, please contact Signature Immunologics at molecules@immunologics.com
